Scope: These Terms govern KJVBibleSearch.net and the hosted KJV Bible Search services. Downloaded software is also governed by the applicable product-specific licence. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

KJV Bible Search Ecosystem — Complete Scope

For all legal, licensing, privacy, intellectual-property, authenticity, security and enforcement purposes in these documents, the “KJV Bible Search Ecosystem” means the complete KJV Bible Search platform developed, published, operated, distributed and/or licensed by ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED, including without limitation:

KJVBibleSearch.net — the primary official KJV Bible Search website, download, documentation, support and legal-policy location;
KJVBibleSearch.org — the official live Universal HTML / Progressive Web App deployment and installable Universal PWA;
BibleSearchKJV.com — the official live WordPress Plugin demonstration/installation and its PWA functionality;
the KJV Bible Search Android App, including authorised Google Play distributions and future authorised Android releases;
the KJV Bible Search WordPress Plugin, including the current v1.5.3 Security Hardened release, future official releases, and official ZIP distributions, subject always to GPL-2.0-or-later for GPL-covered code;
the KJV Bible Search Universal HTML + Installable PWA, including the current v1.5.4 Security Hardened release, future official releases, and official ZIP distributions;
all live PWAs, installable web applications, browser-installable editions, service workers, web app manifests, caches and offline application resources;
all official downloadable ZIP packages, archives, installers, release packages, update packages, manifests, release notices and historical/superseded official releases;
all original source code and software expression to the extent protectable and owned or controlled by ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, JSON-related application logic, configuration, integration code, search logic, rendering logic, navigation logic, Text-to-Speech integration, highlighting systems, Copy/Share systems, theme systems, PWA logic, WordPress integration and other software components;
all executable/object code, compiled or packaged code, application resources, schemas, database/data structures and compilations to the extent protectable;
all original user-interface expression, layouts, visual designs, icons, logos, badges, graphics, artwork, screenshots, promotional assets, documentation, instructions, manuals, release information, support material and other original content;
all release-authenticity and integrity systems, including SHA-256 hashes, signed manifests, integrity files, fingerprints, verification logic, public verification keys and release-identification data;
all confidential private signing keys, credentials, secrets and non-public security material, which are not distributed or licensed; and
all future KJV Bible Search versions, editions, deployments, authorised mirrors, replacement domains and delivery methods expressly identified by ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED as part of the KJV Bible Search Ecosystem.

Rights boundary: inclusion in the KJV Bible Search Ecosystem does not convert public-domain material into proprietary material, does not override GPL-2.0-or-later rights in GPL-covered WordPress code, does not override a third-party/open-source licence, and does not claim rights that ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED does not own or lawfully control. Mandatory statutory rights and exceptions remain unaffected.

1. Consent and application

By accessing or using KJVBibleSearch.net, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you download software through the official gated download process, you must also affirmatively accept the applicable download terms and product licence before the server authorises the download.

2. KJV Bible Search ecosystem

The ecosystem includes the official Website Version, Android App, WordPress Plugin v1.5.3 Security Hardened, and Universal HTML + Installable PWA v1.5.4 Security Hardened, together with associated Bible-search, chapter, audio, support, download, documentation and Prophetic Series content.

3. Licence to use the website

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable licence to access and use the website for lawful Bible reading, study, search, listening, navigation and other ordinary permitted use. This website licence does not transfer ownership of our proprietary software, branding, artwork, documentation or original written content.

Cross-Domain Operation, Downloads, PWAs and Source Code

These Terms are intended to apply consistently across the KJV Bible Search Ecosystem regardless of whether a user accesses a hosted website, installs a browser PWA, installs the Android App, downloads an official ZIP, installs the WordPress Plugin, deploys the Universal package on an authorised server, uses an offline copy, or accesses an authorised future KJV Bible Search delivery method.

A change of domain, hosting provider, file path, ZIP filename, PWA installation state, browser cache, server environment or device does not by itself change the ownership or applicable licence of protectable material.

Where source code is publicly readable because a web browser must receive HTML, CSS or JavaScript, technical visibility does not by itself place proprietary expression into the public domain or grant a redistribution, sublicensing or derivative-distribution right. Conversely, code expressly governed by GPL-2.0-or-later or another open-source licence remains subject to that licence and its granted freedoms.

No person may use an official domain name, product name, logo, signature, release fingerprint, integrity result or other source identifier to falsely represent an altered or independently distributed product as an unchanged Official Release.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the site unlawfully, fraudulently, maliciously or in a manner that infringes another person's rights.
Do not interfere with the site, its users, servers, security, availability, rate limits, authentication or protected resources.
Do not introduce malware, destructive code or unauthorised automated traffic.
Do not falsely represent a modified, historical, forked or independently distributed product as the unchanged current official KJV Bible Search release.
Do not use KJV Bible Search branding in a manner likely to mislead users about origin, sponsorship, verification or endorsement.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED owns or lawfully licenses the protectable rights in its original website content, software expression, interface materials, documentation, graphics, logos and other proprietary materials. Access does not assign those rights to you.

This clause does not claim proprietary copyright in public-domain material, ideas, methods, facts or any third-party/open-source material governed by a separate licence. GPL-covered WordPress code remains governed by GPL-2.0-or-later.

6. Scripture and authored content

The underlying King James / Authorized Version Bible text must be distinguished from KJV Bible Search proprietary material and from the separately authored Prophetic Series. The Company does not claim that inclusion of Scripture creates proprietary copyright in public-domain Scripture. The legal status of the Authorized Version is jurisdiction-specific, including special rights in the United Kingdom.

7. Third-party sites and services

The site may link to Google Play, Amazon, browser vendors, social platforms, ministry sites and other third parties. Unless expressly stated, we do not control or endorse third-party content, availability, privacy practices or terms.

8. Information and religious content

Website information is provided for general information, Bible study and reference. It is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Authored prophetic or theological commentary is not represented as canonical Scripture.

9. Availability, changes and discontinuance

We may update, maintain, replace, suspend or discontinue a website feature or software release. Material changes to contractual terms will be identified by a new revision/date and will operate prospectively to the extent required by law.

10. Warranties and security

Subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the site and free software are supplied on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility, perfect formatting, error-free browser translation, perfect Text-to-Speech pronunciation or absolute security.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by third-party platforms, unauthorised modifications, incompatible hosting, browser/device limitations or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

12. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, remedy or other mandatory right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law.

13. Disputes

A party raising a dispute should first give written notice describing the dispute and proposed resolution. The parties should attempt in good faith to resolve it before litigation, except where urgent injunctive, protective or other immediate relief is reasonably required.

14. Governing law

Subject to mandatory local consumer and other non-waivable rights, these Terms are governed by New Zealand law and disputes may be brought before the courts of New Zealand.

15. Severability and no waiver

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down where lawful or severed to the minimum extent necessary. A failure to enforce a right does not by itself waive that right.
