These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KJV Bible Search mobile application (“the App”) and the website https://kjvbiblesearch.net (“the Website”). The App and Website are operated by ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by accessing the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the App and Website.
2. Use of the App
KJV Bible Search is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes
- Interfere with the App’s functionality or security
3. Intellectual Property
All content within the App and Website — including design, layout, code, and branding — is owned by ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED unless otherwise stated.
The King James Version (KJV) Bible text is in the public domain and may be freely used. However, the App’s structure, formatting, features, and presentation are protected intellectual property.
4. Translations
The App uses the Google Translate API to provide optional translations of Bible text. Translations are generated automatically and may not always be accurate.
By using the translation feature, you agree that:
- Translation accuracy is not guaranteed
- Google may process the text being translated
- No personal data is included in translation requests
5. No Warranties
The App and Website are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy of translated text
- Availability or uninterrupted operation
- Freedom from errors or defects
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALPHA & OMEGA LIMITED is not liable for:
- Any damages arising from use or inability to use the App
- Errors in translation or biblical interpretation
- Loss of data, profits, or other intangible losses
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google Translate for optional translation features. Your use of Google services is subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
8. Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the App or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for any reason, without notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
