Updated: 16 August 2026

Four Versions, Different Delivery Architectures

KJV Bible Search is available in four forms that share the same overall Bible-search experience but use different delivery architectures. The Android App combines two offline engines and two online engines; the Website Version combines online JSON search with 1,189 static HTML chapter pages; and the WordPress Plugin and Universal Version use their own local unified JSON resources for their core Bible-search functions.

Android App

Quad-System Architecture: Offline Bible Engine, Offline Audio Engine, Online JSON Engine and Online HTML Engine.

Website Version

Online unified KJV Bible JSON search plus 1,189 static HTML chapter pages and nine full Prophetic Series pages.

WordPress Plugin

Local unified JSON Bible engine with search, TTS, real-time highlighting, copy/share and Book → Chapter → Verse navigation inside WordPress.

Universal Version

Standalone HTML/JavaScript/CSS deployment using its own local unified JSON Bible engine without requiring WordPress, PHP or an external Bible API.

Android WebView integration: when an Android user is online and opens a live KJVBibleSearch.net page through the app, the website page is displayed inside the app's WebView. The user remains inside the Android app while using the live website environment.

Android App — KJV Bible Search

The Android App is the complete offline + online edition. It uses the built-in KJV_FULL.json Bible data for offline search and rendering, its offline TTS engine for the full Bible and nine prophetic books, and the online JSON + HTML systems whenever internet access is available.
